Weekend Wish List

Before I purchase anything online (unless I'm feeling impulsive), I like to do some research first and check out several sites before committing to an order.

Reasons why I do this:

1) To save money. If I love something from one store, I'm usually able to find it cheaper somewhere else.

2) Quality. I can't tell you how often I buy things of crappy quality and so to prevent this, I try my best to order from sites where they include reviews.

3) Fit. Some brands make clothing that fit better than others and so again, I'm relying on customer reviews.

4) To discover new stores/brands. Once you start branching out from your comfort zone you open the door to a whole new world.

Every weekend, I'll try and share with you guys my latest wish list from a few different stores. This will give you an idea of the styles I like (or would like to try). My closet consists of mostly black dresses and grey tops so I've been really trying to include some variety (texture, patterns, and of course COLOUR).

I'm kind of digging the Love Dress with Keyhole in Large Bloom Floral Print from ASOS right now. You can't tell from the picture but it's a shorter dress and it has a bit of a carefree spring vibe to it. This dress is definitely out of my comfort zone but I think it might actually look nice on me.

I totally love the Influence Stripes & Roses High Waisted Short which is also sold on ASOS. It's sold out of my size which is why it's still on my wish list. I know it's black and white but I only own jean shorts so it's definitely different.

Simple, elegant and totally work-appropriate. It's an ASOS Sleeveless Longline Blouse with Knot Back Detail and is currently on sale right now. I might get this one...but it's grey so maybe not?

I once owned a romper from Urban Outfitters and it did NOT fit right on me. It was pretty saggy in the bum area (so not flattering) but had such a pretty pattern. It was also super short :(. But this Love Sadie Textured Skort Romper from UO makes me wanna try a romper again....sigh.

As much as I love the styles from Nasty Gal, I did not like the quality of the one top I ordered from them last year. It was super cheap, thin fabric and didn't look as nice as it did online. This Nasty Gal Rosanna Lace Skirt is pretty though...might be a little too short for me.

This After Party Vintage Claire Cutout Dress from Nasty Gal looks so fun! I'm on the bustier side so it may look a little too sexy on me though. For anyone with a smaller chest, this dress would definitely turn heads :)

Hope you enjoyed my first Weekend Wish List! Which styles do you like the most?

P.S. My next post will be a beauty product review :)))

Happy Saturday everyone!
